If your playing on Stars and looking for the best cash tables to sit at
then i hope this helps,i tried explaining to Carp once but hopefully
this post will make it easier for some of you
ok firstly go to
the pokerstars main lobby and click view > lobby themes and select
classic (as some of you may be using the black theme)
you will now be able to alter your cash game column settings by clicking the box that is arrowed
This will bring up the column settings and i suggest you tick the check box`s on the left which are - table,avg pot and vpip
on the right you should sort by plrs,VPIP and Avg Pot and highlight descending for all 3 of those
finally tick the check box lock setting at bottom so it should all look similar to this below
Next we need to click on the ring game filter to setup which type of games show up in your lobby
for
this example i have set up to just have one stake showing (0.01/0.02)
as i dont want useless information on my lobby if this is the stakes im
currently concentrating on solely.it`s also worth setting a minimum
amount of players at the table as the last thing you want to do is be
sat at a short handed table if full ring is what your looking to play so
i set my filter for a minimum of 7 players.for full ring it`s worth
filtering the VPIP to show the fishiest tables - as im a nit i set it
around 30% for full ring
obviously if you play 6 max 0.25/0.50 change the filters to reflect that and set minimum players to 4 for example

selection is important in cash games so this should help in finding
some juicier tables to play at as if your tight like me you really dont
want to be sat at a table full of nits!!
